Update Your Green Roof Graphics Here

People have asked us if they can use some of the graphics we have prepared for our talks on green roofs in their own work. We use the publicly available, detailed, technical, and academic research contributions made by others in our work so fair enough. Here is our, perhaps superficial, but hopefully useful contribution to the community. You can add dimensions to the growing medium yourself as you like.

These 1800x1350 pixel images you can click and download are simple diagrams intended to illustrate elementary aspects of the two primary types of green roofs in an academic setting. These are not for commercial use, are not construction drawings, or to be used as building envelope guides. They work well for intro level courses but are missing the detailed information necessary to be any more than that. More advanced issues such as trays, water storage methods, alternate locations of the waterproof layer, insulation, vapour barrier, and structure are beyond the scope of these images. Let us know if there are issues with them. We are busy so it may take a little while for us to get back to you.
